The Full Story
Hi! We are Mrethi and Janani, founders of HER Finance, an initiative focused on advancing financial literacy and economic equity for young women.
We created HER Finance to address structural gaps in financial education that contribute to long-term gender disparities in wealth, income, and leadership within finance. By integrating practical financial skills with foundational economic concepts, we equip girls to understand how markets, institutions, and public policy shape opportunity.
Through a structured, age-appropriate curriculum, we introduce budgeting, saving, investing, and core economic principles to kids from 3rd to 10th grade
We are committed to helping build a world where financial freedom isn’t a privilege, it’s a right. Let’s raise a generation of strong, smart, and economically wise women.
