Finance 101 Toolkits

The Finance 101 Toolkit Project was a 4-month-long initiative to make financial literacy more accessible across Omaha. These toolkits not only deeply explain concepts but also educate users on how systems work and provide high-yield tips. These toolkits were thoughtfully written and hand-designed by us, going through multiple rounds of research, review, and revision to ensure accuracy and relatability! Reaching 1,000 individuals across 10+ different Omaha schools and advocacy groups, the Finance 101 Toolkits made critical knowledge accessible to many!

Girls Inc. of Omaha

HER Finance is proud to have established a strong partnership with Girls Inc. of Omaha, delivering hands-on literacy education to young girls in the community. Our engaging multi-week summer program reached over 30 students, helping them grasp foundational concepts in a fun and accessible way. The positive impact of our program led to requests for continued engagement, and we are thrilled to have now impacted around 100 students through direct education during the school year. We remain committed to empowering young girls with essential financial skills for their future!

You Go Girl

HER Finance is excited to announce our partnership with You Go, Girl! Here, we work together to foster joint community outreach via events that empower young women, giving them critical tools for success. HER Finance also supplements You Go Girl's developing online financial module, using our first-hand perspectives to make their curriculum and activities more engaging for the students they serve. Through this ongoing partnership, we not only encourage young girls and women to take control of their financial futures, but also reveal the internal steps behind taking agency for themselves, helping them become more confident, independent, and better leaders. Look for upcoming events this November 2026!

Carole's House of Hope

HER Finance is proud to partner with Carole's House of Hope, working together to provide essential financial education to economically disadvantaged women in Omaha. Our journey began with a donation of Finance 101 Toolkits, which proved to be invaluable. Encouraged by the positive feedback, expanded our efforts by leading professional development workshops tailored for women aged -28 and distributing vital resources within their community. Together, we are making a meaningful impact, empowering women to achieve financial independence and confidence.
